Dear Lindenwold Families,
It is truly a tremendous honor to serve as your Superintendent of Schools. I am very grateful for all of the kindness extended to me by the staff and families I have met thus far, and I am extremely thankful for all of the on-going support I have received from the staff, administration, and our very dedicated Board of Education. Above all, I must take a moment to acknowledge the incredible hard work and dedication of Mrs. Kathleen Huder, Business Administrator/Acting Superintendent, and Dr. Lori Moore, our previous Superintendent, during this time of transition. I am sure you will all join me in wishing Dr. Moore well in her retirement as she will be greatly missed.
Over the next several weeks, I will have the opportunity to meet many of our town’s key stakeholders, and together, we will continue the tradition of working together to support our community’s most precious gift, the children.
The administrative team and I have already hit the ground running and are busy planning and preparing for our students’ return to school. Our building staff are on-site and preparing to welcome our students back into the classrooms. We are prepping to implement our blue/gold hybrid learning model beginning on Monday, April 12, 2021. More information will be coming soon from our Director of Curriculum, Dr. Marc Mancinelli, as well as your building principals.
The administrative team is also working hard to support our students upon their return by not just planning to address student learning needs now but also as our students continue to move forward in their learning journey. It has been very clear to me in this short time how fortunate our District is to have such dedicated administrators who truly love and care about the children and families of Lindenwold.
If you would like to learn a little more about me, I invite you to revisit the website pages I created back in January to introduce myself. You can even revisit my video introduction in both English and Spanish as well. (Introduction)
In closing, I want to affirm my dedication to providing our students an excellent, well-rounded education. Every child needs to be celebrated for the uniqueness that makes them who they are while being supported with the motivation and tools to become who they dream to be. I look forward to being a part of that journey to celebrate all of your children’s future accomplishments alongside their teachers, administrators, district staff, and of course you, and their families.
Sincerely,
Dr. Kristin P. O’Neil
Lindenwold School District Superintendent
